CRACK THE GRIFFIN CODE – CONTEST

My second book Gryphus will be coming out on the last day of February 2018. I’m super excited! Before the book actually comes out, I want to share a little bit of information from the book, and then start up a little contest.

In case you’re wondering, which might be the case if you read the end of my last book, the book is all about Griffins (or griffens, gryphons, gryffins, griphons … I actually don’t know how to spell it.). Griffins are smart, like Einstein only smarter and with slightly better hair, and a shorter tongue.

They love learning new things and are suckers for a good pun or riddle.  Puns and riddles happen to play a huge part in the next book, and I want to let you in on a little insider information so secret that I haven’t even told my alter-ego about it yet.

There is a scene in the novel where the James and several new characters are trying to get into a griffin vault to figure out some information. To get into the vault, they need to answer a few questions. Here is one of the questions the characters are supposed to answer.

π + (Δv ÷ Δt) = ???

What are those mysterious symbols you ask? I’m not going to tell you …

But …

If I can get 500 responses to this question, one lucky person is going to get a $25 Amazon gift card.

If no one seems to be able to figure this one out (My two engineer brothers couldn’t figure it out … which is kind of ironic since I’m a lawyer, and they own me at math in their sleep.), I’ll start giving some clues once we get a little closer to the launch date.

If I get over 1,000 responses, I’m going to give away a brand new Kindle Paperwhite with both of my books preloaded onto the device!

There is one catch. You can’t respond to this question unless you are a part of my email list. I’m only giving these away to my email subscribers.

To reiterate, here are the two/three things that need to happen:

Here is the form:

Test your math knowledge. See if you are one of the few that can crack the Griffin code!

If this thing gets up to 10,000 submissions, I don’t even know what I’m going to give away, but it’s going to be awesome! Share this with your friends and family! Let’s see where this goes!
